Besides our U9 and U11 academia related kids Antal Dunai, Zoltán Böőr and Soma Novothny also participated at the event.

Our previous legendary player, László Fekete’s son is still committed to the Hungarian football. László Fekete junior organized a football tournament on 13th of May, on Sunday, where our U9 and our U11 academia related kids got invitation also. The primary aim of the event was to highlight the common human values and to promote equality, furthermore to keep it.

We talked with the organizer of the event, who is the establisher of the Silver Shoe Football School, on phone. “The president of the foundation, Gyula Bánki, furthermore his wife helped me a lot to organize this tournament between extremely good conditions at the Kristóf Bánka Sport Centre” - started his speech our club previous, silver shoe winner forward’s son, László Fekete junior. “My Silver Shoe Football School started its operation last September, where I teach hearing-impaired children. We could have done more seriously the training work and we tried to participate at games also. The idea came from there that we could organize a tournament, where we need partners to make the two or more rounds game. I visited our previous silver shoe winner footballers’ clubs, Újpest, Ferencváros and Vasas, furthermore I invited team Kelen, where my previous childhood friend, Tamás Harmati is the professional director. Everybody arrived with two age groups, so we could do with that our youth tournament, where everybody played everybody. The main point was of that my hearing-impaired children could experience how to play a real football game on a good pitch, even against stronger opponents at a nice facility. Unfortunately, my kids were a little bit sad without victory, but I have to tell that we are at the beginning of the road, but I think, totally, this was a really good tournament. I was very happy about every team accepted the invitation, this aim was a back and forth integration”.

Fekusz Kis also added he is very grateful to Antal Dunai, Zoltán Böőr and Soma Novothny about they were also at the event. “The kids look to Soma as a possible top scorer and also a role model. It gave them enormous motivation that He also watched their games”.

Of course, Újpest FC will follow and support the Silver Shoe Football School later on and we wish them more successes in the future.
