Nebojsa Vignjevic is back to Újpest 

Újpest FC on Thursday officially terminated the contract of head coach Milos Kruscic by mutual agreement. The Club thanks the Serbian coach for all he has done for Újpest and wishes him good luck for the future!

Nebojsa Vignjevic, who is well known to the purple and white fans, will take over the team. The 54-year-old Serbian coach managed the squad between October 2013 and June 2020, during this time he sat on the bench for 258 games, with 107 wins, 75 draws and 76 defeats.

During his nearly seven-year career in Újpest Vignjevic led the team to two Hungarian Cup victories (2014, 2018), a Hungarian Super Cup victory in 2014 and a bronze medal in the Hungarian championship in 2018.
